Iggy's TV Special

The leader of the Liberal Party is going to be featured in a 30 minute television special this Sunday, unfortunately I have to work so I won't get to watch. Damn. There is a very good chance that 98% of Canadians will also be tuned out. This won't be a live show, as it is rumoured to be a compilation of stump speeches and previously recorded town hall meetings. It will be interesting to see the ratings for Mr Ignatieff's Neighborhood as he takes his dozens and dozens of fans on a journey through his land of make-believe.

Personally I don't think it helps his cause to have people watch him talk. The way he keeps sticking out his tongue when he speaks makes him come across as reptilian. If you had to pick a name for his special, what would you call it. This will be tomorrows poll question. Thus far I like Mr Ignatieff's Neighborhood.

  4. This will be their last ditch effort to sell the guy. Personally, I am planning to vote before it airs.

  6. Does his show come equipped with a lie detector?

Hope he shows his pinko shirt show with his "Rise up". Will be a real vote grabber(for the Conservative party)

  7. Anonymous said "Can't figure out where the Libs are getting all this money for advertising all of a sudden ..." Here in Quebec, especially on the French Networks, you will see atleast four Liberal ads for every Conservative ad. Where are the Conservative ads? The same ratio also apply to ads on the radio.

  8. The reason you don't see the Conservative ads is that the Conservatives have to rely on $1,000.00 donations from Canadians. The Liberals have the Tides Foundation out of the States backing them.

  11. The Tides Foundation as in communist marxist Van Jones, funded by George Soros? I wish we had a Glenn Beck in Canada.

  12. Of course it will on Sunday - he is stumping for non-Christians.

  13. I might watch it if they show him quoting that there will be NO coalition in debate, and then have him say to Peter M. that there will be a coalition.

Strange that he would mock one of Christian's most holy day. Sad - it will reflect on all LIEberals - of whom there are many good ones. (He has not learned to never bring religion into politics - particularly with a LIEberal slant - and by the leader.)

  14. How about: "The Thing!"
    An old 1950's B&W movie.
It scared the Hell out of me then, and Ignatieff scares the Hell out of me now!

I hope Elections Canada doesn't investigate to quickly. Seems the more the Liberals are advertising, the lower Iggy's numbers go. I haven't looked at the sponsor of these ads, but are we sure they aren't put out there by the Conservatives.

  17. It would be funny if there were regular commercials in the middle of all of it from the Conservative party.

Does anyone else see the irony here? The Libs running a "show" on Easter weekend hoping to rise from the dead.

I'll stick to Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments for my miracles this weekend.

  18. The corrupt Obama campaign did this in their election and the Libs are following them to a Tee.

It's that, or his campaign is actually being "produced" in the States, by the very same people who ran the Obama campaign.

The big question is, which foreign governments and which foreign corporations are paying for it all.

Meanwhile, over at the offices of the crony capitalist Media Corporations and at Elections Canada they are working hard with these very same interests to hide all these truths from us.

Welcome to the New World Order. It’s a world where your little vote is nullified by the self anointed New World Aristocracy.

  19. Good question, where DOES the money come from to sponsor all the Liberal ads? We were told the LPC was in deep financial trouble, but they seem to have very deep pockets for this election campaign.

SunTV should be all over this, Elections Canada sure as hell won't raise the issue.

Oh,they should call it,"The Return of the Prodigal Son", and feature the original song written and sung by the Reverend Robert Wilkins over the intro.

  20. Do you think there's a possibility the network airing this "Iggy Love-In" may be donating the airtime to the Liars? It sure appears that the media have a vested interest in keeping the Liberals around- maybe AdScam is continuing through the bureaucracy, with the "right" Liberals in the "right"
places handing out fat brown envelopes to certain "journalists" in return for warm and fuzzy pro-Liberal news.

  21. It is insulting that he is reaching out to Canadian voters on Easter Sunday morning, on the positive side, most Christians and Catholics will be at church, and most non believers will be sleeping!
