Today's poll question; do you get Sun TV News in your cable package? It would appear that there are distribution problems in the first week, which should work itself out over time if they produce a quality product. There is no Sun TV in my Telus package, and we have an expanded package beyond basic cable. I get roughly 15 news channels including Fox News, MSNBC, and several international channels; a dozen CBC feeds, but no Sun TV.
Exactly what portion of the Blogging Tory audience gets this on their televisions? Watching on the internet was not included as an option in the poll question because I am trying to get a figure on the proportion of people who get this on their television sets. I'm a little pissed off that I don't.
I'm rather choked that we don't get it here. Neither Access or Sasktel Max have it & Saskatchewan is a predominantly Conservative province!
ReplyDeleteI'll be switching to Shaw.
I'm in Vancouver, and we get it on Shaw. (for the first 6 months anyway)
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying it, and it really is a breath of fresh air!!!
Yes, on Bell TV (Ch. 213) in place of what was the OTA "Sun TV" channel from Toronto.
ReplyDeleteWe have Bell TV channel 213 in Manitoba also.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't easy to find, here in Calgary it isn't in the TV listings and the channel doesn't have a name in the program guide. I had to flip through the channels until I found it, it was channel 177.
ReplyDeleteI get it here in Trawna - Rogers channel 15 - I love it. It cast the inutterable lameness of the MSM in even sharper contrast than one would have thought possible.
ReplyDeleteAgent Smith
I get it here thru Shaw in rural SK., but Shaw is having to send me a new receiver (at my expense, plus I have to pay warranty for 1 year), and since the receiver is coming from Mississauga, I am disappointed that I cannot watch it yet!!
ReplyDeleteI live in the Fraser Valley and have Shaw Direct satellite where it can be found on 517. Had it not been for the internet I would never have been aware of SunNews or where I could look for it as of April 18th. I have not received any information from Shaw Direct as to how this will work 6 months from now, so one cannot accuse them of promoting it. I have been letting my friends and neighbours know about it, since they also have Shaw. They were totally unaware until I told them. One thing I wondered about was on the first and second night Shaw Direct kept losing the signal and you had to wait a while for SunNews to return.
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is fantastic and such a breath of fresh air in this environment polluted by leftist spin and propaganda instead of news and facts. I also note with pleasure that they are not blind CPC partisan cheer leaders, since I have heard criticism of Harper's lack of true conservative policy in finance and social issues. It is fair to say it is pretty balanced reporting in my opinion.
Rogers Cable Ottawa has a preview on channel 66. Not sure but I think for 4 months. Don't know if it will be added to an existing package.
ReplyDeleteI'm in Prince Edward Island, and get it through Eastlink HD Channel 610. Love the programming, alternative points of view and of course the sleeveless skanks in HD!
ReplyDeleteHopefully Caldwell is gone by the time you get it. He belongs in the Liability column.
ReplyDeleteI canceled Cogeco in Peterborough because they had no plans to carry Sun News TV. I got Shaw Satellite installed in 3 days and watch it on Ch. 149. Even though I had to pay $336.74 for the two HD receivers, it's worth it. I know the station needs some fine tuning but they'll get there. It's such a refreshing change from CBC News World and CTV News Net which I have since blocked
ReplyDeleteI am in BC have telus tv satellite and get sun news network on channel 213.
ReplyDeleteI have it on my Shaw Digital cable in Alberta. It's on channel 177 for me. I started watching it on launch day.
