Communist Party Of Canada Fallen On Hard Times
What a sad day. The Communist Party of Canada has been reduced to just 19 candidates out of 308 ridings in the 2011 election. By comparison the Marxist-Leninist Party is running almost as many candidates as the Bloc Quebecois. The heady days of top-down authoritarian socialism appear to be over in favour of a more bottoms-up populist approach. The times they are a changing. The Commies are actually one of our oldest active parties, born in 1924, 30 years older than the NDP. It would make perfect logical sense for the Commies, Marxists, and Dippers to merge into a socialist super party. This vote splitting on the far far far left is dragging them all down.

Probably the only thing you've said recently that I agree with. Now, let's go further and merge the Libs as well and keep you lot from decimating this country.
ReplyDeleteActually the Communists have a powerful "party" called "The Environmentalists". They learned to use Green language to promote anti-capitalism and took over the movement. That's when Patrick Moore quit Greenpeace. It became an organization run by Marxists along with other similar organizations.
ReplyDeleteThey already have a lot of power although it's fading a bit.
What are you talking about the Communist Party of Canada is alive & well, they only run under a different name in order to get elected. They're officially know as known as the "Liberal Party Of Canada", Check out the links they substantiate my claims.

Right Anon...all VERY credible sources, indeed.
ReplyDeleteProgressCanada: So Please explain exactly why Iggy met with Zhou Yongkang? the man holds no position in the Chinese Govt, yet has earned the distinction as the "Human Rights Killer". What possible purpose would it serve for the Leader of the opposition to be meet with this man, maybe just for some tea? or maybe to discuss policy? You tell me it's not the first time Iggy has praised Communist China. There are plenty of news stories out there about it for you to read.
ReplyDeleteThe Rhinocerous party once received the fourth most votes in an election (1984).They even received more than 1% of the vote in 1980.
ReplyDeleteOf course the difference betwen the Bloc today and the Rhino's of yesterday is pretty grey...
(different than the previous anonymous)
ReplyDeletepeople were saying "top-down" (workers at the top) socialism was dead in the 1890s, then the Russian Revolution happened. So we're not out yet.
As you mentioned yourself Communists were here first, so it's the other parties that are the ones doing any splitting.
