Can Liberals Still Replace Leader?

Where have you gone Stephane Dion, the Liberals turn their lonely eyes to you...
It is unlikely this has ever been attempted a few days before an election, but the Liberals might be wise to switch leaders before Monday. They are trending towards a disastrous collapse to third party status and have to think of something. Stephane Dion is looking like the smarter pick at this point, which is probably why Iggy lost to him back in 2006. At this rate he'll be lucky to win his own seat!

  1. Dion's wife will be snickering at this thought. If the Libs had to select a professor, Dion was certainly the better man. However, most Liberals are in bed with carbon tax/UN/Soros/One World gov't, so we must get rid of all of them.

  2. Trudeau would be a better choice. People who would vote for a party that switches leaders with three days left are already in an elections-are-a-high-school-popularity-contest mentality, being wholly unconcerned with tedium such as continuity or stability. Putting the fuzziest bunny on stage would have the most effect on that crowd. It's still a crap idea though.

  4. Yes Trudeau would be ideal, as he is an airhead and perfectly represents the party. Guaranteed: no seats west of Ottawa and also Nfld.

senior party insiders and high-ranking sources.

    It's a load of crap.
Our BC numbers are up according to both Ekos and Nanos, NO ONE knows how this will go, it's way too close to call in Ontario.

  7. I have it on inside authority that the Star is run by the same clueless Liberals that are wholly irrelevant now. The Star is soon to follow. My inside source knows all sees all from the shadows

  8. If the many Liberals are rational and I think they are they will not countenance such an irrational party to gain control of the House of Commons. The natural instinct of the main stream traditional Liberals would be to support the Conservatives in a minority parliament in a way that provides the Harper Government a majority. It may come down to individual Liberals of a centrist bent to either cross the floor or sit as independent Liberals who declare that they support the government.

Any other resolution by them would mean the disintegration of Canada as a united and prosperous nation.

  9. So does his mean the coalition is off? I think so. Jack will want to be PM and the Libs won't go for it. Yeah CPC minority with major bun fights in all opposition parties!
