Ignatieff And The Bulldozer, His Dukakis Moment?

On the list of all-time bad ideas, putting Mike Ignatieff at the controls of heavy machinery. If the guy is so excited for photo-ops where he is doing other people's jobs, why not try driving a tank? It sure worked wonders for Mike Dukakis. Iggy likes putting on the working man's uniform and trying to do their job for the cameras. In politics, this strategy doesn't always work. Already this year we saw Iggy make an ass of himself in his "Howard Dean moment", and now most recently his "Mike Dukakis moment". Really, has Iggy ever put in a hard day of work in his life?

Keep it up man. I am 100% in favour of as many Ignatieff photo-ops and tour stops as possible. He's doing more damage to the Liberal Party than Stephane Dion! I never would have thought that possible.

  1. I agree, Ignatieff and his team have done more damage to the Liberal brand than the Conservatives.

So many Liberals had their hopes crushed in 2006 with ABI in Montreal.

I am curious if those ABI feel vindicated as their party appears to repeating the John Turner era.

  2. Does he have a license? Remember the weeks and weeks of negative comments by the liberal press when PM Harper drove an ATV

  3. What an idiot. And don't forget his attempt to show stupidity in a gym a while back. Didn't even know how to put his hands in the proper place.
I have a grand daughter who graduated from the Women in the Trades program and she runs a much larger piece of equipment, all by herself.
Do his handlers have any idea of how many are in construction work that are laughing their a@@ off at this picture.

Take the 3rd picture with that goofy smile holding the cheese and place it beside a picture of Mr. Burns from the Simpson's. The similarities are striking.

  7. Don't know about anyone else but the last time I drove a tractor there was exhaust coming from the stack. Did he actually get the Cat to move or did his just sit there and go vrooom vrooom like my grandson does with his toy tractors?

  8. He always reminded me of John Kerry. Every time I see Kerry, I think of the other loser Iggy.

  10. An email that is making the rounds right now that I got yesterday titled

    "Keep it going"

As a rule, I don't pass along these "add your name" lists that appear in emails.

BUT this one is important. It has been circulating for months and has been sent to over 20 million people. To show your support for Michael Ignatieff please go to the end of the list and add your name.

  11. I worked in construction for 3 (count em 3) summers. We never wore hard hats like that or had toothpicks. I never saw anyone with a toothpick lol.

  12. Picture #2 His rolling eyes seems to say, “Where is my teleprompter?” look. OR "Didn't I just say something opposite than what I just said a few days ago?"

Picture #3 Sorry, that is not a toothpick; it is a screw – looks like drywall screw. What bothers me is that he does not have safety glasses on and his hard hat looks ridicules the way he wears it. Good thing the Compensation board was not around when picture was taken.

Picture #4 At first glance, I thought that somebody photoshoped it. I would never buy that product from him. Although I never saw him smile like that, and glad he doesn’t do it too often.

Picture #5 Soldiers; on our streets; with guns; in Canada … I did not make this up.
