Happy Lunar Eclipse
Don't forget people to look outside tonight if the sky is clear, as there will be a lunar eclipse on the shortest day of the year. This is a rare event, especially on the solstice. I am flying in a jet plane today, but I will have landed before the eclipse will have started. Hopefully there will be no cloud cover in Salt Lake City on Tuesday night.

Well, the lunar eclipse was last night here in Edmonton, (I have a picture of it on my blog, taken by me at around 12:50) not sure where you are flying to, so maybe you can still see it.
ReplyDeleteI think if you fly over the International dateline you'll still be able to see it on December 23rd - not sure if that's flying East or West. Those in Australia are lucky because they get to see the eclipse upside down.
