If Wikileaks is in the business of taking guarded information and putting it into the public realm, I would like to make a request. The CBC has been refusing for years to answer Access To Information requests about their cost expenditures. Can somebody over there please release that information to Wikileaks? That is one Wikileak which would actually be in the public good, unlike putting sensitive military and diplomatic records online.
Is anybody listening?
Right on! You go, man!!
ReplyDeleteA brilliant idea. why don't you repeat your request on twitters and on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteCBC likes to read all sorts of leaks maybe they will one concerning them (CBC) which is a not a leak but a fact.
Dont hold your breath. This Assuange dude hates America ,banks, and anything capitalism it seems.Thats ok let him release stuff. You know what they say ,give enough rope....
ReplyDeleteI remember a Liberal was hoping someone in the Government or military would leak or come forward last year.
ReplyDeleteIt makes sense to ask someone to have that same courage in Mother corp.
Businesses struggle to make ends meet but not CBC, they don't need to work, they just get billions of dollars every year not only from taxpayers but from contributors as well and for what- to generate 8% viewership.
ReplyDeleteQuestions we normally ask:
How much money does CBC get from the public every year?
How much money does contributors pay into CBC?
How much does each cheap show cost?
How much is the CBC employees salaries-remember, we pay their salaries.
How much money does organizations get from CBC: LPOC for one- I am pretty sure that there are other organizations which we know not of that we most likely will never dream of giving.
CBC cannot match up to the american media that are privately owned. CNN ABC NBC etc are privatized; some of them have to lay off some of the employees; take pay cuts why, the viewership is way down... a message from the viewers 'you are lousey' some others stations are gaining in strength (viewership) like FOX).
CBC on the other hand can get only 1% viewership and still they continue to hire wasteful reporters-give cheap shows; fly whereever they want; eat carviar; ride in limos and still get billions of dollars every year for nothing.
Why do you think CBC doesn't like the idea of SunTV on national television? Because they know exactly what they (CBC) will face.
FYI: CBC get the least funding per capita out of any national broadcasting corporation in the G20. Maybe if we supported CBC like how the UK supports BBC, the programing and network could improve.
ReplyDeleteGO HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA AND REPUBLIC OF DOYLE!!!!!
