Protesters Justify G20 Security Bill

I have been bombarded with video footage in the media this week of the clowns flocking to Toronto to protest the G20, and my primary thought as I'm watching all of it is thank heavens we brought in all these extra police. I offer my best wishes to the RCMP officers from across Canada who have put their own safety at risk to protect the world's leaders from hoards of miscreants. The crazier the protests become, the more justified the cost of policing. It is fair to argue that our nation's biggest city is not a good choice to host a major international summit as most Liberals contend. We should not host important people in large quantities in Toronto, or so I am hearing from the Liberal Party.

  1. Governments saved the employment of these protesters, unionists prove again they are just communist anarchists.

  2. I'm not sure that there's much RCMP presence - this is being handled by the Toronto Police, OPP and some of the surrounding Regional police services. The RCMP has very little presence in Ontario, other than plainclothes drug enforcement.

  3. Hey Ice - you've got that right. Nobody should ever be in Toronto if they don't have to be, especially in large quantities!

I just went through the airport there on Tuesday, and it may have been the first good Toronto experience I've ever had.

They should also leave the fence up after to give the protesters a natural protest location. It saddens me to think that these groups have to find other things to do when they're not protesting. Like find jobs. Jobs that allow them to leave and protest whenever the need arises.

  4. The nice thing about the security bill is that it includes a lot of overtime wages, and the government will get at least 30% of that back at tax time anyways.
I also find it a bit ingenious of the opposition to have been whining that the government did not spend enough on the recession recovery plan, but they begrudge the police, military, and other security personal from pocketing a bit of extra chnage now: I guess only auto workers, construction, and CUPE members deserve help. It's typically very little and selve-serving of the Liberals and NDP to complain, which is why they are not to be taken too seriously.

  5. Now, who do you think these clowns would vote for. Here's my guesstimate.

    LIB/NDP/Bloc : 1OO %

    Conservative : 0 %

You can also count on them being as big of supporters of the CBC, as the CBC is of them.

  6. What annoys me is that the people who are receiving the 8 BILLION maternal and health money (from me and you, the tax payers) are protesting, and I am mad as he**. They were on TV being ungrateful brats!!! Flip them.

The high cost of summits is due to the protestors, less so terrorists. I will never again contribute to Oxfam or World Vision, the ungrateful a****h***s. They also get grants already and I can't cut them off. There needs to be a serious review of NGOs, foundations and charitable tax breaks, as these people are funding educational programs and conferences for anarchists.
