The Next Great Governor General

I'll admit that I did not approve of the Liberals appointing CBC journalists to the Governor General position. To me this created an incentive whereby journalists may display preferential treatment to the Liberal Party on the chance that they might be tapped for the un-elected defacto-head of state. You get dipshits like Evan Soloman who can become convinced they can be GG if they spin it the right way, and that taints the journalism, most egregious of all at the Canadian Broadcast Corporation.

Having said that, I have been quite satisfied if not pleased by the service of Michaelle Jean. She could have thrown this country into complete constitutional chaos a year ago had she decided to allow the Coalition to advance forward. Despite being appointed by Liberals, she recognized that it was important to shut it down and let people cool down. That was the best thing that we could have done. She had her consumption of seal meat, which I strongly approved of. Seals are voracious predators.

Therefore I must say that I would approve of giving her a second term. Having said that, if Mike Harris wanted the job....that would be awesome! Talk about putting the left on their heals!

  1. I thought she would be a waste of space, but I really like her. She should get a second term. I seem to remember her going to PM Harper when she was being besieged by lefties. He protected her. She in turn protected him on the coalition problem.

I really respect her for how she has handled a very tough job, without over spending our money. I hope PM Harper will extend her term.

If he doesn't, I would love to see Ralph Klein get the nod! Wouldn't that just make lefty heads explode!

  2. As a wise philospher once said "you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you just might find, you get what you need..."

  4. I'd like Preston back in the game. I always liked Presto. Though I did vote for Jean Term 2.

  5. I would prefer Rick Hillier. M.J. has done fine but I really am sick of the journalists and others from the incestuous Ottawa cocktail party set getting the honor.

I would like to see someone who's actually put his ass on the line for Canada. Also, making Hillier the GG would show the world that we are proud of our troops work in Afghanistan.

There are cowards out there who would wail that it would offend Muslims to have a soldier who fought against radical Islam in the GGs job. These cowards can kindly shove their heads up their asses.

The news media would hate it. Which is Another good reason to do it.

Hiller is a man who DESERVES to wear the uniform - not just some useless, champagne sipper like Clarkson who uses the uniform to play dress-up.

Hillier as GG would send a big thank you message to our troops who would be ecstatic when he visited Afghanistan in that capacity. Talk about a morale booster.

  10. The Next Governor General of Canada

The next Governor General of Canada should be who,

or what? Not a schlemiel like Bob Rae, that hoary putz,

who kicked our Province in the nutz and then strove for

PM that pretentious klutz, That man who would be king.

How about a reverse-racist like Arnold Minors, for whom

political correctness is locked in stasis and who

refuses to understand that to combat racists one must

stop being racist themselves. To the moon with this

poltroon who would kill those who are king.

Consider the lovely Susan Eng, that harpy who once, in

lieu of reason, declared an open season on our boys in

blue and for a while threw the baby of peace and order

to the bathwater wolves, who inevitably bring chaos and

decay to the land of the king.

Do not forget the great Mike Harris, who rising like a

shining knight did implore us to raise the banner of

commonsense against the blight of mindlessness.

In that darkest of nights, when delusional socialism

corrupted right, Mike Harris did bring,

Justice again to the land of the king.
