"Where's Harper?"

The Liberals are now asking where is the Prime Minister, and why is he not also doing a summer bus tour? Iggy is on a campaign to convince Canadians that he is worthy of being elected Prime Minister. Stephen Harper has already been elected Prime Minister twice by Canadians, and therefore his primary responsibility is to govern the country on behalf of Canadians, not to rent a bus and spend the summer campaigning. Iggy might not understand this, but being the leader of this country is a full time job. The Prime Minister can't just work 2 hours a day and blow off the rest of responsibilities to get a good seat at happy hour like the Liberals do. The PM rarely takes vacations, and unlike Iggy he does not have a vacation home in Europe.

Today Ontario Liberal Mark Holland is hosting a BBQ in British Columbia. For the low price of just $20, you can meet Mark Holland. Either that or you can save up $100 and hope you can get a plate at the Justin Trudeau gala in PEI.

  1. Lets face it - the central Canadian control of the press by the Liberal party, is one of the major reasons for the difficulty - from Bourque torqued news aggregation (as he no longer gets a stipend from the tories), to the red star whack jobs, and CBC uber-bias. - all of these offenders sell their souls and abandon journalistic integrity. A good first start would be to defund the bloated, useless CBC.

  2. Of course its $100 to see JT. He's the next Liberal leader. Mr. Ziffy is yesterday's fish wrapper holding the spot until JT is properly groomed.

  3. Where is the millions of dollars Holland?
That money belongs to the public.

where the PM is is none of the opposition business because the liberals were never here for the public from the very time they ever took office nor during the recession.

The media is a dead lost.

  4. ": Etobicoke Lakeshore Community BBQ – July 28 @ 5 pm

Hi Folks, This is a major event right in the heart of Etobicoke Lakeshore and we know whose riding that currently is. The cost is extremely low ($25/person). For this event I will need the names of attendees to obtain clearance before the event."

I think this is actually a Conservative BBQ, but for comparisons sake, Ignatieff charged $40 for his Calgary Stampede breakfast.

  5. Harper often spends time at Harrington Lake, with his family. So that's probably where he's been. It shouldn't be that hard for the media to check THAT location out.

Anyway, when Harper is front and centre, he's a "control freak", and his Cabinet members are "potted plants" standing next to him at announcements.

Then when Harper isn't around, obviously leaving his Cabinet to run things, the media ignores that aspect, and says he is "in hiding".

It's all nitpicking taken to ridiculous lengths. Wherry, the left's hero over at Maclean's, is the "master" at it. It's strange to see such a severe case of "Harper Derangement Syndrome" in someone outside the LibBlogs.

  6. I don't blame the media or Liberals wondering where the Prime Minister is because they both know who is running the show.

The herbivores know they are just posers and they miss the shadow of our PM.

He makes them feel safe in this scary world.

  7. Well I sure hope Liberals are spending a wad of cash on Iffy's magical bus tour.

I see today, reports that Iffy lied about going to public school in Canada.
lol, left Canada at 6 months old, returned at 11 years to be schooled in an elite boarding school.
