If they were going to make a major motion picture about former NDP Premier--future Liberal leader Bob Rae's career in Canadian politics, what do you think it would be called? Thus far my ideas are 1) The Red Ink Revolution, 2) Rae of Plight, 3) Oops; The Bob Rae Story, 4) The Worst Case Ontario (credit Ricky in the Trailer Park Boys), 5) Pandora's Toilet, 6) Fiscal Armageddon Factor.
As always, your suggestions are welcome. I am going to try and pass the time this summer with some creative polling. Political junkies in withdrawal from the summer recess need their methadone.

ReplyDelete'Worst case Ontario' would be Dalton McGuinty ... he has caused more damage to Ontario then Bob Rae did.
ReplyDeleteI like Phantoms "Rae Daze" for a title.
Yes, the Phantom had some excellent suggestions that will most certainly be included in the poll that I launch before bedtime. Mr Observer is one of the best in the business at ideas for polling content.
ReplyDeleteHarris Rising is my favourite. I spent the day on the golf course thinking of Mike Harris related ideas, and the best I could come up with was "You're Welcome Mike".
I'd use an older movie title, Dazed and Confused with a slight twist, Raezed and Confused

ReplyDeleteA Rae of no hope.
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to see who would make the best LIEberal leader at next Leadership Convention. Dalton McGuinty (or Dolt McGuilty) would be the perfect LIEberal leader - if he would dare go LIEberal format.
ReplyDeleteThree Way race: Promise Breaker Bob, Iffy, McGuilty - all worthy candadates for the LIEberals (though DeYawn should try again)
my suggestion: McGuilty
