Foreign Investment is Good

I saw Jack Layton yesterday up in arms (forcibly removing those arms in front of him) over his grave concern of allowing foreign investment in Canadian industry potentially destroying our country. Jack, I understand that you oppose free trade and foreign investment in Canada. That has been in the NDP platform for some time. By advocating protectionism you are decreasing competition, raising prices and eliminating mutually beneficial transactions.

With the opposition attempting to fear monger over foreign ownership, I thought that I might chime in as to why these investments benefit Canada. When investors outside the country gather money and spend it on Canadian enterprise, it represents an infusion of capital into our great nation. We should want businesses to invest in Canada, and if a foreign competitor wants to enter our cell phone market to introduce a cheaper alternative, that benefits all Canadians. We should be encouraging foreign business to spend more money in Canada. It is pretty simple.

  1. Gee, wasn't the NDP once in bed with those evil American auto makers with the UAW which the canadian rebels broke away to form the CAW?.
Jack still avoids talking about the NDP founder who was also one of the evil Christians like Harper , except Harper doesn't endorse a Global eugenics plan to reduce the Poor population and sterilize most young Black females or mentally ill persons.
