CAPP: How to squeeze every last breath from your 15 minutes of "fame"

In what can only be a sign that the apocalypse is bearing down us, the nerd who started the Canadians Against Prorogation Facebook Group, the darling of the CBC, continues to get air time on our public broadcaster even after prorogation is over. It will be interesting to see how long this faux-celebrity can last beyond the conclusion of the standard parliamentary procedure he was originally complaining about. The kid insists that this is not a partisan venture, but rather grassroots anger at paused Parliament. Now that parliament has resumed, will he tackle partisan issues to keep his face on CBC Newsworld?

It is highly unlikely that the Prime Minister will prorogue Parliament again anytime soon, so you have to wonder how this kid can possibly extend his 15 minutes of fame beyond his current spotlight. Will he be on the Soloman Show 6 months from now and say "yes I'm still mad we paused Parliament 6 months ago", or will he delve into new issues? I know he is not seeking my advice but I'll offer it anyway: you're a kid. Finish your education, get a job, experience life, and grow up.

  2. CPAC had 3 of the morons from this group on the other day (I posted at BLY same day) Some doofus named Jaroon,Shilo Davis, can't remember the 3rd stooge's name..anyhoo,Shilo made a stunning statement about prorogue, said majority of people are so ill-informed about politics, they had to be told who Stephen Harper was!! So,my question would be,how many of the signees to the Facebook protest, had a hot clue as to what they were even signing? Sammy

  3. Who would have thought the NDP were non partisan, I am glad the CBC and our other MSM have done a wonderful job in presenting the fairytale as they see it.

  4. For a "grassroots, non-political" group they sure send out a lot of press releases. Just sayin.

  5. Since CBC like looking for something to talk about; why not show our facebooks listing the liberals, ndp prorogation dates when they were in government.
