South Park Mocks Facebook

I am going to go out on a limb and say that this 14th season of South Park is the funniest season yet. Another week, another hilarious episode that ridicules current cultural phenomenon. Who was their target this week? None other than Facebook. We Canadians may remember Facebook from such faux controversies as Canadians Against Prorogation. Stone and Parker spare no contempt for the social networking site. Cartman even spoofs Jim Cramer in a bit called "Mad Friends", which speculates about Facebook friend counts like they are stocks on the Nasdaq.

This episode, like all South Park episodes, can be watched for free online at the Comedy Central website. You can watch all this season's episodes for free, just scroll down the clip list at the center of the page. My personal favourite of the season is Dances with Smurfs, which parodies Glenn Beck and Avatar in the same episode. The dad trying to get cancer to score a weed prescription from his doctor is also classic.

The only Facebook Group I ever visit is CALNDTJ.
