Peter Kent "You Are A Piece Of S**t!"

So much for the new era of civility and decorum in Canadian Parliament, as today Justin Trudeau called the Minister of the Environment a "piece of s**t". Smooth move Justin, but it would have been nicer had you just told him to f**k off. On Power Play Justin explained that he's frustrated with the lack of Conservative accountability and just couldn't take it anymore. Right, it is the Tories fault that Justin can't control his temper. Also Justin, you might want to consider shaving the goatee because you look ridiculous, like a cheap retro Bond villain.

Political pundits this afternoon were musing that our parliamentarians need a vacation, despite many opposition members skipping a whole lot of votes in this session. Justin only missed 19 votes to Bob Rae's 46. Even Ruth Ellen Brosseau who famously vacationed in Las Vegas during the last election campaign has only missed one vote in this Parliamentary session. She deserves some credit, because her NDP colleagues account for 6 of the top 9 most absent MPs. 50 Tory MPs missed zero votes.

  2. Trudeau not taking personal responsibility for his temper tantrum, made him look worse.

Pat Martin did the same thing,
blamed his temper tantrum on Conservatives too.

    LibDippers better watch out,
if the media gets tired of making excuses for them, it could get ugly.

  4. I think it was just plain old grandstanding, and the lazy leftwing media bought it hook, line, and sinker. Honestly, anything regarding durban wouldn't have been reported otherwise.

  9. I can't believe how many Libloggers are defending this language. Remember how upset these same people got when Peter McKay said to "stick to your knitting," or the famous dog reference to Stonach. What a bunch of hypocrites!

  12. Poor Turdo Jr. Self absorbed grade 8 drama teacher/ Turdo's kid... throwing his feces around the HOC in a desperate attempt for attention. Not only can Turdo's empty headed kid grow varying styles of facial hair, he can also scream expletive laden insults... Turdo Sr. may have fooled enough people into buying his bullshit revolution act, but I'm afraid Turdo Jr. will never have the acting skills of his horrid gargoyle of a Father.

  14. The first syncophant out of the gate defending Justin´s grade school language of course was Lawrence Martin. He could be heard pleading, I need more KY back there again.

  15. Trudeau's comment came after Kent criticized Megan Leslie for not attending the Durban conference after he, Kent, prevented her from going. Seems you neglected to mention that.

  16. And how exactly did he prevent her from going? Is an NDP member supposed to accompany every minister when they depart abroad?

  17. It was the taunt.

Elizabeth May: Very difficult to get to COP. UN deadline 2 apply passed before Kent told us we were not on del.

Justin Trudeau: This is a tradition that goes back 20 years of bringing multiple voices to a conference. He did not, they did not.

Peter Kent: "he chided NDP critic Megan Leslie for being ill-informed about last week's climate-change conference because she hadn't attended."

    So yes, what a jerk.

  18. It doesn't matter that Megan Leslie didn't go or wasn't approved to go. She would of knock the governments decision no matter what they decided. Which is what she did. So we saved some tax payers money.
