"I never saw a prisoner in a cell"

The immortal words of former Canadian diplomat Richard Colvin, one of the darlings of Dosangh. The latest allegations eliciting excitement from the Liberal caucus are being made by a former translator who claims Canadian forces gunned down an innocent teenager INSIDE a bomb making compound. Of the 10 combatants captured at the scene, 9 were covered in explosive residue. I'm not sure if innocent civilians typically hang out in bomb factories, but in this case it is alleged he was. Like Colvin, most of this man's testimony is hearsay.

There exists a lot of military documentation on this incident, but there is a good reason that we can't just hand them over unredacted to Milewski and O'Malley to be distributed throughout cyberspace. They discuss in detail how it is Canadian forces raid bomb factories. The biggest threat our soldiers face are bombs, typically made in bomb making factories. If you disclose in full detail of our operational tactics online, that increases the ability of the people blowing up our soldiers to evade capture. Ergo, you put our soldiers at risk if you just give Milewski the unredacted documents.

This should be clear for all to see,
except the daydream believers at the CBC!

Which reminds me, have you noticed how Milewski and O'Malley attend these committee meetings and try to get a seat in plain view of the camera.  As journlists reporting on this, there is no need for them to be in the shot, other than they both likely like being on TV.  Though it's not like there is tough competition for seating.  The majority of serious journalists stopped covering this months ago because the Canadian public doesn't care.  If people cared, the press gallery would be full at the hearings.  Supply and demand.

  1. Probably, those two like to hang around there so show canadians "look at me; look at me, hard at work."

Now, if those two were 'reeely hard at work, they would be pounded each liberal household demanded to know where the missing millions of dollars.

Only members of the MSM or Liberals would believe that the guy is innocent. Our soldiers have two sets of enemies they have to overcome, the terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda or Taliban, and the Canadian media, who invariably invoke the rules of the Ottawa Lawn Bowling and Tennis Club regarding the rules of engagement.

Send the f***ing Press home, and E-mail 'em the news every day, maybe then our soldiers can actually win the goddamned fracas.

Had the current MSM been overlooking our soldiers every move in 1944,we'd have lost World War 2.

  3. These partisan hacks are condemning our troops. The opposition parties and certain journalists are serving the Taliban.

  4. When I see CBC Terry Milewski, sitting so close to the "Witness", a red Liberal flag appears for me.
Whe the "Witness" won't talk outside of the protection of parliament, thats another red flag.

  5. Releasing even 4 year old documents could tip off the Taliban on who among them was helping NATO, the smallest detail could implicate an informant.

The media are aching for another Somalia, to boost sales,
the Opps want Harper to wear 'something', anything.
Neither seem to care who gets hurt in the process.

  6. I heard from a reliable source that the Taliban are growing a Clone Army!

    Enough CBC stories though.
They want a Somalia so bad. The don't want an orderly victory, they want us to pull back in shame and disgrace. Funny that the same people wanted us to rush into Sudan while all this Afgan crap is still going down.

Tell you what though, after this is over we aren't going into any war where the mission isn't clearly defined start to end.

  7. The CBC, the liberal Opposition, and Amir Attaran.

Nope, nothing conspiritorial going on there....

Best guess as to why Milksop and OldMealymouth are so close to the witnesses is to keep tabs on them so they read the pre-written responses to the "liberal MP's questions".

  8. I heard a story that Colvin was seen dancing with the Taliban leader of the district in which he worked. I didn't see it of course, but I heard about it. Therefore it must be true.
