Pierre Poutine Recorded "Vote Liberal" Message

In an interesting turn of events, the infamous "Pierre Poutine" (allegedly responsible for the supposedly "greatest electoral fraud in Canadian history") also recorded a message supporting Liberal candidate Frank Valeriote in Guelph. I'm not sure why a Conservative operative would want to encourage people to vote Liberal, but the recording is attached to the account. Batman and Robin (aka Maher and MacGregor) have theorized that the purpose of the call (which was recorded but never sent out) was intended to annoy Liberal supporters. This argument is a bit hypocritical considering the Liberals themselves sent out thousands of robocalls encouraging people to vote Liberal, not all of which were legal according to election law. If sending out robot calls saying "vote Liberal" will discourage liberals from voting, then why would the Liberals send out their own robocalls encouraging people to vote Liberal?

The true identity of Pierre Poutine remains a mystery, at least to the public. Supposedly Elections Canada already knows who he is and aren't releasing his identity until they have completed their investigation.

Regardless, this story just got a lot more interesting...

  1. Of course the mop and pail paints this as being clear evidence it must have been the conservatives : http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/pierre-poutine-taped-election-call-impersonating-liberals/article2379712/

  2. Regarding your poll question on the appropriate sentence for someone who sexually assaults a child. The appropriate sentence is to be handcuffed to a lamppost in a public place for a weekend, with police presence to ensure everyone gets a fair shot.

    1. Maybe I should have included "Life + Castration" as an option. That probably would have been the winner. 90% of these crimes are committed by men, so castration alone might not be a deterrent to the other 10%.

  3. They used racknine to make it look like it was the Conservatives. If it was the Conservatives, they certainly wouldn't use racknine. Why isn't anyone saying it could also be the NDP? The only guilty party to date of illegal robocalling are the Liberal camp. Bet after they made the EC calls, they decided to scrap the "support the Liberals" robocalls to steer the suspicion, if caught, away from their own camp. That U of G has to factor in this scam also...VOTE MOB!!!!

  4. The calls were never sent out but supposedly they would have been scheduled to go out in the middle of the night, hence the annoy suggestion.

    1. That's pure speculation by the journo. Two can speculate on what the plan was here. I think this was an accident. Oops that's the wrong damn file, I meant to upload the EC file not the vote liberal file says the liberal hack named Pierre Poutine.

  6. Just heard that Poutine has been suppressing the online votes at the NDP convention. Heard that certain west coast voters have not been able to cast a vote.
Some are even claiming the fix was in from the outset.

    1. Thinking the same thing, someone is not being nice. Funny how all the quebec votes are getting thru. And these idiots think they can run a country. Guess online voting for an election is never going to happen. And why are they supposedly using a non canadian company for this. Kevin Newman said it was one from Spain.

  7. "The calls were never sent out but supposedly they would have been scheduled to go out in the middle of the night, hence the annoy suggestion"

And how does anyone know what time the calls were to go out, other than Poutine? Conservative supporters in a number of ridings complained of receiving annoying phone calls supposedly from the CPC, late at night. The party investigated and found the calls were not made by the local or feeral campaigns, now companies hired for robocalling.

So if it wasn't the Conservatives, who was it? Liberals, NDP? Maybe. Or is this whole thing a result of some closet anarchist who sought to impede democracy?

That's my bet, and it's as credible as any of the dribble put forth by the opposition and media.

  9. A suggestion Mr. Iceman: How about running a poll asking how long it will take the Conservatives to get under Mulcair's skin sufficiently for him to go off on some mud slinging rant.
I figure it will take until the second question period or, on second thought, maybe five minutes.

  10. OT

    Transpose the letters
    Mulcair to Mclair
Keep that one in the can, right now I'm sticking with the "mule".

  11. Given the Liberal biases shown in the past by EC, I would expect that if Pierre Poutine were a known conservative, they'd release his identity now, at the height of the media frenzy. If however he isn't a conservative, they'll probably withhold it until it warrants no more than a half inch on the back page with the retractions and obits.
