Should Occupy Camps Be Dismantled?

Today's poll question; do you support your local mayor ordering the dismantling of an Occupy protest near you? Is it time for Rob Ford to call the police on Occupy Toronto? These protests have been allowed to continue for far too long, and now with a growing epidemic of drug overdoses, it has become dangerous. Perhaps the question is not whether or not they should be dismantled, but what degree of force the police should use to shut them down. Tasers or no tasers? Some police officers have been assaulted or bitten when they have intervened, as these clowns don't want to go peacefully. They want to be dragged away kicking and screaming like little children, and if that's the case, then so be it.

  1. They should bring in fire trucks and spray everything and everyone with ice cold water, in the evening preferably.

  2. And those arrested should have to be held for 2 wks before going for bail, and bail should be 1000./day for how long said person has been out there. Then they should all go to jail for at least a year. We need people to fill all those new prisons being built. Guess our PM had a vision of the future and the need for these facilities.

  3. It's well past the time that these anarchists and union thugs be removed, and unfortunately, force will be necessary. Anyone who believes these professional activists and the useful idiots they lead will leave peacefully is naive in the extreme. Confrontation and violence is what the activists desire, so let em' have it.

  4. They are breaking numerous by-laws are they not? Then simple enforce those by-laws.None have permits do they? Then they breaking the law.Go to jail and do not collect $200.If they dont enforce the laws ,then every tom dick and harry will setup a tent and squat.

Same goes for the natives in caledonia. If the native groups claim they do not follow canadian law ,then we are not obligated to give them money every year.Part of their treaty rights includes obeying our laws doesnt it? And if it doesnt, then why do they have access to our hospitals and healthcare?Refund checks and Native staus cards?Shall we go on?

  5. Of course they should be dismantled..from the public park that is to the union head quarters.I am positive that Sid Ryan and other unions ceos big shots would gladly open their doors for the occupiers right iceman? If the union hq don't want them then CBC with all its multiple rooms most definetly would open their/our doors.
Apparently to CBC CTV reporters the occupiers are of greater importance to allow them inside than Ezra Levant.
