I can't imagine what it is since there hasn't been any rumours suppporting such an hypothesis. It's just a gut feeling that explains the seemingly weak reason for an non confidence defeat of the gov't.Hoarfrosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07851698479761235428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6573500847704693761.post-22114803193974279882011-03-25T07:27:22.483-07:002011-03-25T07:27:22.483-07:00I don't believe this is the Count's doing....I don't believe this is the Count's doing. The power brokers in the background are not gambling. The Count is a pawn. Political opportunists like Bob Rae and Ujjal Dosanjh do not switch from being socialists to Liberals without good reason. I suspect the Ontario and Quebec power brokers are showing Chinese patience. The objective is power and control of the economy the current hallabaloos are merely probes by pawns looking for a weakness. Conservatives cannot be complacent.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6573500847704693761.post-25553162388170040742011-03-25T06:52:38.300-07:002011-03-25T06:52:38.300-07:00There is no way the three stooges can take over LE...There is no way the three stooges can take over LEGALLY unless they do so after the PM as dissolved parliament, the way Harper tried and Layton leaves out when talking about it, problem is it will show their hand. So we go to an election all parties stand alone and Harper is the sitting PM. Thing is he will still be the PM after the election no matter what happens, re UK and Gordon Brown. Problem there was Brown did not have the most seats, but still hung around to try until he had to concede to Cameron. It appears Harper won't have that problem as at worst he will get a minority with the most seats. So unless he resigns he will still be PM and there is no way the stooges can turn round and say they have the most seats and should govern as a coalition, the GG would not allow it as I don't think he would want to be remembered as the GG who oversaw the breakup of Canada, and cutting out the party with most seats would probably precipitate that especially in the west. The only way would be for the opposition to once again bring down the government and then step in. Which could trigger yet another election as precedent is the GG accepts the advice of the PM who might just ask for another one.Pissedoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14799369572979165203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6573500847704693761.post-46074290326861540312011-03-25T06:39:42.013-07:002011-03-25T06:39:42.013-07:00Really makes you wonder about backroom deals when ...Really makes you wonder about backroom deals when CTV Craig Oliver reports to Canadians on Don Martin's PP yesterday's show that coalition with the Bloc are warm and fuzzy.Fayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05699596897160839400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6573500847704693761.post-43918757965246217002011-03-25T04:41:03.679-07:002011-03-25T04:41:03.679-07:00Iggy's political instincts are pretty bad, but...Iggy's political instincts are pretty bad, but he isn't that dumb, to go anywhere near the Governor General NOW.
